06/01/2015 New Plant Manager at RENOLIT’s Headquarters
The RENOLIT headquarters in the Horchheimer Strasse 50 in Worms has a new Plant Manager: Ralph Gut (49) took-over from Hans Jürgen Aumüller at the beginning of the year. And he will have plenty to do in the future: The Worms-based, family-owned company plans to invest over EUR 36 million in the next few years to, above all, alleviate location-specific disadvantages in Worms.
“With these investments, we are continuing the modernization measures begun by my predecessor” says Ralph Gut. “The money will be spent on buildings but also on state-of-the-art plant and equipment. This will allow us, for example, to further reduce our CO2 emissions and energy consumption. In addition, the comparatively high municipal levies in Worms forces us to reduce costs”. With Ralph Gut, a particularly experienced Plant Manager is now at the helm in Worms. Previously, Ralph Gut headed the US RENOLIT production site in La Porte / Indiana and before that, the Dutch production site in Enkhuizen. He thanked his predecessor in Worms, Hans Jürgen Aumüller for everything he had done: “I am really pleased to be taking-over such a well-managed plant”. Praise for Hans Jürgen Aumüller also came from the CEO Michael Kundel: “Hans Jürgen Aumüller did a great job here over the past years and initiated a number of important processes”. In May this year, Aumüller will retire after 44 years of company service. Until then, he will continue to look after many of the modernization projects currently ongoing in Worms.
